Yarmouth & Acadian Shores Craft Splash, 2011: Wednesday Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m. at the Centre de Pombcoup, West Pubnico Fire Hall.  Cost $10.00 per person.  Registration is advised.  Laurie Swim from Lunenburg will have a display of her quilts and a power point lecture.  Lecture: The Community Built Quilt-Community art projects with volunteers for social activism and historical record.

IWK QUILT FAIR & SALE: May 30 to June 1, 2012. Parker Reception Room, IWK Health Centre, University Ave., Halifax, NS May 30th – 9:30am to 5 pm; May 31st – 9:30am to 5 pm; June 1st – 9:30am to 5 pm. Admission - $3.00. Our raffle quilt is “ Three’s Company” Raffle tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 - Draw will take place on Friday, June 1st. The show will have a large display of quilts for show and sale. We will also feature silent auction items made by the members and a Craft Table. The proceeds will be donated to the IWK Auxiliary. The Auxiliary provides items of care and comfort and support to the women, children, youth and their families who must visit the Health Centre. A joint project of the Mayflower Quilters' Guild of Nova Scotia, Mayflower Chapter/Guild members and the IWK Auxiliary.
